California-based tuner Vorsteiner that specializes on Audi, BMW, Mercedes and Porsche models, has released a new aerodynamic and alloy wheel package for the Porsche 911 Turbo (997) called "V-RT". Up front, the exterior kit adds a new front fascia that features larger carbon fiber air intakes for the radiators and elimination of the fog lights like the factory 997 GT2 as well as a removable dry carbon fiber front lower spoiler. According to Vorsteiner, the new bumper assembly is lighter than the factory bumper. The 997 Turbo's rear-end receives a new and wider bumper with enlarged side intercooler extraction vents that house a replacement dry carbon fiber shroud plus a new molded carbon fiber rear diffuser with integrated twin aero fins that encompass the quad sport exhaust tips. The VR-T aero package is completed with a carbon composite rear deck lid/engine cover with twin ram air scoops. Finally, Vorsteiner has developed a new set of seven-spoke, 3-piece forged wheels with a race-inspired center mesh design that are available in 19- and 20-inch configurations.
