The controversial styling of most BMWs since the first Bangle-butted 7-Series broke cover in the dawn of the new millennium has resulted in many independent design studies for numerous Bavarian models from amateur and professional artists alike. The S.X. seen here is a proposal for the next-generation BMW 6-Series that was created by Iulian Bumbu, a graduate of the Transportation Design Course at the Scuola Politecnica di Design (SPD) in Milan, Italy.
While retaining the characteristic flame-surfacing styling language of all modern BMW's, Bumbu's take on the new 6-Series Coupe does away with the Bangle-Butt while the low roofline combined with the long wheelbase and short overhangs offer the coupe a more dynamic stance.
We're not too fond of the Aston-Martin-esque front-end design but overall, it's better looking than the current 6er whichever way you take it.
