Just a few months before the new Megane breaks cover at the Paris Show in October, Renault decided to send off the current generation model in style by presenting a hardcore version of the RS that lapped the Nurburgring race track in 8 minutes and 17 seconds. According to Renault, this is a new lap record for a front wheel drive production car.
