It’s been a long time since we last heard of the Austrian tuner O.CT but they sure know how to make an impression when they announce something new. Their latest creation is a heavily modified first generation Audi S3 that has been transformed into a rear-wheel-drive beast. Apart from transferring the entire drivetrain to the rear of the vehicle, O.CT also replaced the stock 210 HP 1.8-liter turbo engine with a 2.7 liter V6 twin-turbo engine from an Audi RS4, powered up to 550 HP! Power is transferred to the wheels through an STW-derived X-Trac race transmission. OCT says that the car’s weight has been equally distributed between front and rear axle. -Continued The Austrian tuner has also enhanced the S3’s appearance with a wide bodykit that includes larger front and rear bumpers. Changes to the interior include carbon-fiber trim in the doors, a much larger and wider center console in order to fit the transmission and Porsche racing bucket seats which have been positioned (along with the pedals) further to the left and right respectively. A removable sports steering wheel and a new digital instrument panel complete the changes. Although the specific O.CT S3 RWD was created for demonstration purposes, the Austrian tuner says that a production version available to public is not out of the question.
