A couple from Bosnia and Herzegovina were in for a bit of a surprise when a policeman knocked at their door informing them that their VW Golf II that had been stolen in 1994 was recovered during a routine roadside check. Milos and Spomenka Jokic, from Setic in eastern Bosnia and Herzegovina initially thought that the police officer was joking but soon realised that this was no prank. Although the Golf had changed several hands during the past 14 years, the couple said that it was in a good condition.
