The gadget-loving marketing folks over at the BMW Group have released a new line of Bluetooth headsets that are scheduled to join the range of original BMW and MINI Accessories in December 2009. The hands-free communication systems that can be combined with any type of mobile phone come in two flavors, a BMW headset in white and a MINI headset in black. Both headsets future the appropriate brand logo on the rhomboid-shaped ear element fitting.
The Bavarian company says that the hands-free gadgets weight just 8 grams and feature a rechargeable battery integrated in the headsets that allows maximum use of up to five hours and a stand-by time of up to 7 days. When the battery runs out, the headsets can be recharged through a special adapter connected to the car's power socket or, alternatively, to the cigar lighter.
Prices are to be announced closer to the launch date in December.
