Like any other international auto salon, alongside the all-important series production and futuristic concept cars, the Tokyo Motor Show played host to various creations. Our photo-reporter Phil Alex discovered this replica of the cartoonish Mach 5 from the not-so successful film adaptation of the popular 1960s Japanese manga series, Speed Racer, tucked away in a corner booth of the Makuhari Messe convention center. More photos of the sparkly white, curvaceous race car with the red interior after the break.
