And to think Ford believed that 305 ponies under the hood of a Focus were more than adequate... Hot on the heels of Loder1899's Focus RS tuning program, renowned German tuner Wolf Racing has launched a new sport package for the fastest series-production Ford ever. As its name suggests, the Focus RS360's revised 2.5-liter turbocharged five-cylinder engine puts out a hefty 360HP and 559 Nm / 412 lb-ft of torque, up from the standard unit's 305HP and 440Nm.
To achieve these figures, Wolf Racing optimized the Focus RS's engine software and turbocharger. The cost for the engine kit has been set at €1,299 or about $1,920 USD.
To put all those ponies on the road in a well-behaved manner, Wolf Racing offers a new limited slip differential priced at €2,500 while handling is further improved by a new coilover suspension (€1,299) and an optional lowering kit (€219).
The package also includes 20-inch alloy wheels (€399 a piece) in various styles and decorative racing strips available in silver, charcoal, blue, red, orange, yellow, black or white for €98.
The Wolf Racing-prepped Focus RS360 will make its public debut at the Essen Motor Show in Germany in late November.
