So what if 'das' Germans and their Swedish counterparts broke the embargo dropping more than 40 photos of the highly anticipated Saab 9-5 sedan into the webosphere back in July; Saab is sticking to its original plan to unveil its new executive saloon next Thursday, August 27. Probably makes as much sense as handing out embargoed photos to media outlets several weeks ahead of the official launch, but whatever.

According to Saab's website, the new 9-5 will be revealed by the firm's Design Chief, Simon Padian. For those of you that just can't wait, we've added the entire (leaked) photo album below.

We'll see the Swedish automaker's Mercedes E-Class rival in person for the first time at the 2009 Frankfurt motor show in September ahead of a sales launch expected in early 2010.
