Hyundai seems to have taken this year's SEMA gathering quite seriously as aside from the four Genesis Coupes the Korean automaker also revealed three Genesis sedan concepts in Vegas. First up is the RKSport Genesis that features a supercharged version of Hyundai's 4.6-liter Tau V8 engine producing 460HP. It also boasts cylinder deactivation technology that allegedly helps it deliver an estimated 18mpg in city and 27mpg on the highway. According to RKSports, the 460HP Genesis reaches 60mph (96km/h) in 4.9 sec and clicks through the quarter mile in 13.58 sec at 108 mph.
RKSport also partnered with several aftermarket companies to add Enkei Performance LS-5 20-inch wheels, a Baer performance brake package, K&N performance air intake, Eibach lowering springs and a Magnaflow performance exhaust. Other than that, the sedan features a Platinum Silver color scheme complemented by a bodykit that comprises a composite hood, polyurethane front lower fascia, rear lower fascia, left and right side skirts, plus a composite rear roof spoiler and trunk spoiler.
The second Genesis SEMA show car was developed in cooperation with RIDES magazine and it's packed with digital accessories including three computers, a 20-inch Apple Cinema Display, 8.4-inch VGA headrest monitors, an iPod Touch, iPhone 3G, high-speed Wi-Fi internet connection and a movie theater-quality surround sound system. Exterior mods include 22-inch alloys, custom-molded front body kit and side skirts, lowered suspension and smoked headlights.
The last of the modded Genesis Sedans are the two DUB Magazine concepts - one in white, the other in black. Both vehicles were upgraded with color-matched exterior pieces, custom lowering kits, a high-end audio and video system, DUB emblems, tinted windows and of course, a set of 22-inch alloy wheels wrapped in Pirelli sport tires.
