For this year's Essen Motor Show in Germany that runs from 29 November to 7 December, Lumma Design has prepared the CLR 550 R which is based on the facelifted Porsche Cayenne GTS SUV. Of course, after all the styling and mechanical upgrades, there's not much 'SUV' left in the CLR 550 R which boasts a supercharged version of the Cayenne GTS 4.8-liter V8 engine pumping out a hefty 612HP. The Lumma-Design-prepped Cayenne sits on massive 23-inch alloy wheels wrapped in ultra-low profile 315/23R sports tires. Other modifications include the lowered sports suspension and the high-performance brake system. For the CLR 550 R's appearance, the design-scientists over at Lumma developed a wide bodykit that includes sides sills, front and rear spoilers, exhaust tailpipes, hood-vents and a different front grille. The bi-color exterior theme is continued in the interior that has been enhanced with a two-tone leather trim, a high-end multimedia system and a new sports steering wheel. Prices and further details on the CLR 550 R are expected to be released during the Essen Motorshow.
